DERP works together with the Town of Enfield, NC to advance tourism opportunities and beautification efforts for Enfield and provide events for our town to show its many assets to visitors and residents. We are working with the Main Street program to help establish a historic district for Enfield, we work with local businesses to maximize efforts for obtaining grant funding to enhance Downtown's assets. We celebrate the agritourism (farm visits), ecotorism (Enfield NC kayak and paddle trips) and cultural tourism assets (historic house tours) that are abundant in Enfield. We develop properties that are donated to us for reuse. We design and enhance our Downtown space. We work on creating economic development for our Downtown. If you are a new business to Enfield or someone interested in creating a vibrant Downtown please join us. We are a 501c3 organization and your donations are not only tax deductible but visible in your Downtown! Membership dues are only $50 annually and directly benefit Downtown.
